Jade Mountain Resort, Soufrière (Saint Lucia)

Discover website ↗

Perched high above the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Pitons on St. Lucia’s south-western coastline, Jade Mountain Resort is one of the Caribbean’s most architecturally audacious retreats. Designed by owner-architect Nick Troubetzkoy, the resort rises from the 600-acre Anse Chastanet estate like a living sculpture — a cascade of open-walled sanctuaries connected by private bridges, each soaring column of rough stone reaching toward the tropical sky.

Every one of the 24 infinity-pool sanctuaries is deliberately missing its fourth wall, dissolving the boundary between interior and the sweeping panorama of jungle, sea, and volcanic peaks beyond. Private pools ranging from 650 to over 900 square feet mirror the Caribbean horizon, while dedicated butler service ensures that nothing interrupts the sense of absolute seclusion. Sanctuaries are tiered across multiple elevations — Sun, Moon, Star, and Sky — each offering a progressively more expansive relationship with the landscape.

Rooted in a deep commitment to the Soufrière community and ecological stewardship, Jade Mountain is not merely a place to stay — it is an immersive encounter with the raw, luminous beauty of Saint Lucia at its most unfiltered.
