Reached by a steep wooden stairway of roughly 220 steps cut into the rock, the climb rewards visitors with a sweeping viewpoint over Coron Bay’s hidden coves before descending to the lake itself, where fresh and saline waters mingle above a submerged forest of ancient stalactites.

The surrounding karst coastline, sculpted over millions of years, remains under the guardianship of the indigenous Tagbanua people, who regard the lake as sacred, home to protective nature spirits.
