A natural cove and protected beach set within the Golfo di Orosei, Cala Goloritzé is one of the most celebrated natural monuments on Sardinia’s wild eastern coast. Framed by sheer limestone cliffs and crowned by a dramatic 143-metre rock pinnacle, this cove of pale pebbles and glass-clear turquoise water can only be reached on foot, via a demanding trail through the Supramonte massif, or by boat along the rugged Baunei coastline.

Protected since 1995 for its exceptional geological and scenic value, Cala Goloritzé rewards those who make the journey with an almost primeval sense of isolation — the scent of Mediterranean scrub, the sound of waves against pale stone, and views that shift from deep cobalt to pale jade as the light moves across the day. Access is now regulated and requires advance booking, preserving the fragile beauty of this landscape.
