A natural turquoise lagoon nestled within the vast coral embrace of Rangiroa Atoll, one of the largest atolls on Earth. The Blue Lagoon, or Lagon Bleu, forms a lagoon within a lagoon, sheltered between the motu Tereia and motu Taeoo on the atoll’s western rim, reachable only by a scenic hour-long boat crossing over impossibly clear water.

Here, a shallow basin of glass-like turquoise water meets a crescent of powder-white sand, ringed by coral outcrops that host reef sharks, colorful lagoon fish, and the occasional gliding ray in their untouched habitat.
